SPRING   March to May

  • Remove Winter mulch and refuse from beds

  • Prepare garden soil, divide and thin perennials

  • Add amendments to soils when needed

  • Install Spring planters

  • Prune shrubs such as Barberry, dogwood, euonymus, hydrangea, ninebark, rose, spirea

  • Add a light layer of mulch to freshen your beds and landscaped areas

  • Weed control in planting beds and landscaped areas

SUMMER   June to Sept

  • Plant annuals, perennials and tropicals for summer color

  • Install summer planters

  • Apply hardwood mulch to shrub borders and landscape areas

  • Apply lightweight summer mulch to annual beds (cocoa bean or mini pebble pine bark)

  • Maintain gardens and fertilize annuals

  • Prune shrubs – arborvitae, forsythia, juniper, lilac, rhododendron, bridal wreath spirea, yew

  • Garden and planter maintenance

  • Weed, dead-head, cultivate, stake, fertilize and animal control

  • Create new gardenscapes for new and existing clients

FALL   Sept to Nov

  • Install Fall planters

  • Plant Spring flowering bulbs

  • Divide and thin perennials

  • Bury roses

  • Seasonal pruning

  • Garden coaching

  • Create detailed lists of favorite plants and plants to move

  • Cut down tired plant foliage, as needed

  • Fall cleanup

WINTER   Dec to March

 

  • Install winter containers with beautiful greens and lasting stems for winter interest

  • Create custom-made wreaths , hand-made bows, garland, kissing balls and unique winter arrangements

  • Mulch gardens as needed for the winter

  • Design Spring gardens
